In early February, our experts visited Berlin to attend the largest specialized exhibition of fresh produce, Berlin Fruit Logistica 2020. This event has been held since 1993, gathering key players in the fresh produce sector, from major corporations to small and medium-sized businesses from around the world. This year over 3,200 exhibitors from 98 countries registered for the exhibition, presenting a full range of agricultural products, equipment, services, and logistic solutions that ensure year-round delivery of fresh, high-quality fruits and vegetables to any part of the world. Moreover, the event was attended by over 78,000 traders and experts from more than 130 countries worldwide. Berlin Fruit Logistica 2020 covers all sectors of the fresh produce business and, for the convenience of visitors, is divided into four exhibition zones:

1. Fresh Products (fresh fruits, vegetables, dried fruits, nuts, berries, mushrooms, spices, flowers, etc.)
2. Technical Systems (seeds, cultivation systems, greenhouses and greenhouse technologies, packaging technologies and machinery, computer and internet solutions, labeling and weighing systems, etc.)
3. Logistics (modern logistic solutions, customs clearance services, transport companies, refrigerated and warehouse facilities, etc.)
4. Services (media, quality control and certification, financial, insurance services, advertising and promotion).

In addition to exhibition stands, the event featured numerous thematic lectures, business forums, seminars, meetings, and presentations of new products, technologies, and services.
